EBT stands for Electronic Benefits Transfer. If you have been approved to receive benefits from one of the programs listed below, you can use this website to view your benefit balance(s).
This website can also be used to view your transaction history, learn more about EBT, and go to other websites that may be useful in answering additional questions you may have.
The New York EBT card is a "debit" card that your SNAP and/or cash benefits are put on each month.

What should I know about my SNAP account?
What should I know about my Cash account?
You can buy non-grocery items with your Cash benefits, such as cleaning products, pet food, and paper products.
Some grocery stores will let you get cash from your cash account.
You can get your Cash benefits from any ATM displaying the Quest logo.
You may have to pay a surcharge at the ATM.
The first two successful cash withdrawals are free each month. Each subsequent successful withdrawal that takes place in the same month will cost you forty-five cents ($.45).
You can use your EBT card even if your Cash case is closed as long as you have benefits left in your account.
Any Family Assistance Cash benefits (TANF, emergency, or special benefits) that were available for use and not used in 91 days will be removed (expunged) from your account if there has not been any financial activity (such as a Cash purchase) on your account in the past 91 days. Your benefits cannot be re-issued if they are expunged.

Misuse of your SNAP benefits is a violation of State and Federal laws. DO NOT:

If your EBT card has been lost, stolen or is no longer working, you should log in to the Client Portal or call the appropriate Customer Service number listed above to request a replacement card. They will immediately disable the old card. A replacement card will be mailed to the address they have on their system. Please allow 5-7 business days for the card to arrive to you in the mail. Your benefits will be protected as soon as you report your card as lost or stolen.
If you need to change your address for a mailed card, you must call your case worker and file a change of address before requesting a mailed card.
When you receive your replacement card, your current PIN is transferred to your replacement card so you do not need to change your current PIN. However, if you want to select a new PIN, select the option to change your PIN.
